All three confirmed bosses scale differently. Here is the difficulty order based on encounter length, phase complexity, and class requirement:
Single phase, overworld spawn, Day 6. Gunslinger or Bombastica at Level 2+ handles it comfortably. Keep distance — it moves faster than standard zombies but has no second phase or adds. The Radioactive Egg drop was bugged before May 2, 2026 — behavior is now corrected.
Single phase, but the Sewer approach corridor is longer than a standard night wave. You fight through Sewer Rats, Radioactive Rats, and Thief Rats before reaching the boss chamber. Post-nerf (April 4, 2026) the Rat King itself is easier than the approach corridor. Bring full ammo before entering — the Gunsmith is not accessible mid-Sewer run.
Two-phase fight — base form then Mutated form with higher damage. The Facility entrance requires solving the fence code first. Bring Bombastica Level 3 (highest DPS) or a Doctor for squad runs. This is the only boss with a community-reported high solo fail rate — HDeHaru's Big Bakers forum thread: "me n my bf tried and we cant win :( help us."

The Sewer area was added February 14, 2026 and introduces its own enemy ecosystem: Sewer Rat, Thief Rat, and Radioactive Rat. The Rat King was nerfed in the April 4, 2026 Doctor update — if you fought it before that patch, it was harder.
